Resiliency in Law Enforcement

APRIL 1 • MAY 5 • JUNE 3

The Vancouver Police Department is pleased to announce Beyond 2020, an upcoming virtual and multi-speaker series that seeks to initiate an open and candid dialogue about resiliency within the law enforcement community, its varied facets and forms, and the unique people and perspectives behind each story.

The series includes the personal accounts of four officers and their experiences with extremely dynamic and challenging on and off-duty incidents – how these situations unfolded, the problem-solving strategies used, and the personal mental and physical fortitude needed to overcome the short and long term impacts of each scenario. Speaker topics center around interpersonal relationships, work dynamics, physical challenges, health implications, emotions and measures taken to foster resiliency and overcome trying situations.

The series is free and open to all law enforcement audiences. We invite you to join us for these free and engaging virtual presentations.

APRIL 1 • MAY 5 • JUNE 3

Each presentation date requires its own registration. The three separate presentations commence at 9 am and range in duration from 120 – 180 minutes.

Please note, the sessions on April 1 and June 3 will not be recorded.  You will need a Zoom Account to register.
